PVC concrete formwork is an environmentally friendly, high-tech plastic composite material primarily composed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and specialized additives designed to meet specific performance requirements. It is manufactured using extrusion foaming technology.

With excellent water resistance, heat resistance, and dimensional stability, PVC formwork serves as a full replacement for wooden formwork, eliminating common issues found in wood. The picture on the left shows both types of formwork in use within the same building section and area, providing a clear side-by-side evaluation.

Notably, each formwork type has been reused 6 times, allowing us to observe their durability, ease of handling, and quality of concrete finishes over multiple cycles. This comparison highlights the strengths and weaknesses of both materials in real-world conditions.
